Hope in the Heart of Detroit
In one of America’s poorest neighborhoods, Detroit Hope Center began with just a family and a vision. Through Christmas for Christ, they found the support to grow, secure facilities, and reach lives. Today, families are restored, addicts are delivered, and a thriving church is bringing hope to the heart of Detroit.
Because You Gave, They Could Go
Christmas for Christ made Rock of Hope possible. Lives have been transformed, truth declared, and hearts restored. Every offering fuels the call and ensures every community has a church where people can find hope, healing, and the will of God. Every community deserves a church—and because of your giving, this one now has a place to find hope.
From Church to Church Family
In their early days, The Way met wherever they could. But with the help of Christmas for Christ, the church finally found a home. From children’s ministry to women’s events, every life changed is a reminder that your giving makes ministry possible. Now, ministries are flourishing, families are growing, and the church has become more than a place—it’s a family.
Faith Rising in St. Bernard Parish
What began as a simple home Bible study grew into a thriving church plant in St. Bernard Parish. Pastors Rigo and Risha Estrada share how God turned their living room revival into Encounter Church—and how Christmas for Christ and North American Missions made it possible to reach their city with the gospel.
CHRISTMAS FOR CHRIST
ENVELOPES
Take 100 envelopes.
Number them 1 – 100. Lay them on a table, hang them on a bulletin board, or post them somewhere accessible. In each envelope, put a blank card.
Show one of the Christmas for Christ videos and have everyone take an envelope, write a Christmas card of thanks, and return it with at least the amount of money inside matching the number on the envelope. (For example, if they take envelope #17, they return it with at least $17 inside.)
If all 100 envelopes are taken and returned at face value, you’ll raise $5,050. For envelopes numbered $1-$200 you raise $20,500.00 and envelopes numbered $1 to $300 you raise $45,600!
Often, you’ll raise more, because people will return the envelopes with extra money inside, particularly the people who take low-dollar amounts.
*NOTE: Many Districts have purchased cards specific for this purpose. Check with your District NAM Director. (Pictured here)
